We believe that Asian Americans have a rich, complex history as political actors in the U.S. — one we must uplift to our community and the general public alike.
Did You Know?
Asian Americans have challenged de-segregation, sued in the Supreme Court to affirm birthright citizenship, and protested in the Civil Rights Movement.
The history of Asian American organizing against race-based discrimination in the U.S. is not widely known. Even in schools today, Asian Americans are framed exclusively as purveyors of culture for educational events.​​

MoCoPAAN strives to tell stories about Asian American contributions to the laws, economy, and cultural life of the U.S. since the first Filipino immigrants were recorded arriving in 1763.
​​We provide cultural competency trainings, presentations, and workshops before diverse audiences — including schools, universities, county and state government agencies, nonprofits, faith institutions, and retirement communities.
